Having primed my hardboard heron, covered it in layers upon layers of tiny pieces all working together to create some aspect of heron spirit the time came to resin the heron. I actually did a series of layers 4 working different sections at a time til the thing was level and shiny.

After working some copper into the legs and bill his eye too have to become so , at least in my mind.
What a fiddle.
